CAC PARTICIPATES AT FIRST AFRICA EXPO, USA
The first-ever Africa Expo, USA has been held at the Marriott Marquis Times Square in New York City on Saturday, September 17, 2022 with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in attendance.
Speaking on behalf of the organisers, Tony Abulu, said the expo was conceived by an association of eminent Continental African businessmen and women.
Abulu added that it was to amongst others create opportunity for those visiting America to network with American businessmen and entrepreneurs to establish symbiotic relationships and take advantage of the vast business opportunities in Africa.
CAC News reports that the event featured a special panel on “African-Americans and Africa: A Symbiotic Relationship of Culture, Business, and Education, the “African Creative Industry”.
In a bid to provide “Business Opportunities in Africa” other topics discussed at the expo, include “Hope for African Youth: Strategy, Funding, and Monetisation”.
Commenting on the event, the Registrar General/CEO of the Corporate Affairs Commission, Alhaji Garba Abubakar said it provided opportunity for the CAC to showcase its reform initiatives to an international audience and to encourage potential investors to register companies seamlessly before setting their foot on Nigeria.
